Operations Director

We are seeking a seasoned manufacturing professional to fill the Deputy Manager position. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling, as well as proficiency in design software for jig, fixture, and tool development.

In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of supplier identification, technology mapping, and coordination across departments. You will identify and evaluate new suppliers based on capability, quality, and cost, and collaborate with Quality, R&D, Production, and Purchase teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.

1. Supplier Management: Identify and evaluate new suppliers based on capability, quality, and cost.
2. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Quality, R&D, Production, and Purchase teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.
3. Product Process Development: Lead part and assembly development from concept to production, prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and design and develop jigs, fixtures, and tools for efficient manufacturing.
4. Manufacturing Process Expertise: Apply knowledge of component manufacturing processes to optimize production, conduct time studies, takt time calculations, and line balancing, and design and layout production lines for optimal efficiency.
5. Continuous Improvement: Drive improvement initiatives such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Value Engineering (VE), Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and SMART Projects, and implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve productivity.
