Our organization is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Event Management Intern. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting educational programs and literacy workshops, supporting children and adult learners in improving reading and writing skills, helping prepare teaching aids and learning materials, engaging actively with the community to promote educational initiatives, coordinating with program managers to ensure smooth execution of activities, and monitoring and reporting progress of learners to the foundation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Delivery: Assist in conducting educational programs and literacy workshops to support children and adult learners in improving their reading and writing skills.
  • Literacy Support: Provide one-on-one support to learners to help them improve their literacy skills.
  • Teaching Aids: Help prepare teaching aids and learning materials to facilitate effective learning.
  • Community Engagement: Engage actively with the community to promote educational initiatives and encourage participation in literacy programs.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with program managers to ensure the smooth execution of activities and events.
  • Reporting: Monitor and report progress of learners to the foundation, highlighting areas of improvement and success.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of high school diploma or equivalent required; degree in education or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children and adults in educational settings, particularly in literacy programs.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in teams; strong organizational and time management skills.
