As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory levels, analyzing data to forecast demand, and developing efficient strategies for inventory control. You'll work closely with operations and supply chain teams to ensure a seamless flow of goods, minimize waste, and optimize stock levels.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Inventory Management: Oversee and monitor inventory levels, reorder points, and stock availability to ensure demand is met without excess stock. Implement and refine inventory control processes.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Use data analytics tools to create dynamic and static dashboards for inventory monitoring. Generate reports on inventory metrics and provide actionable insights.
- Forecasting & Modelling: Utilize data analytics and modeling to predict future inventory needs based on historical data and market trends.
- Inventory Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings and inventory reduction. Implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce holding costs.
- Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements in inventory management and control to drive operational efficiencies.
- Collaboration with Supply Chain Teams: Work closely with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to maintain a smooth supply chain and mitigate any potential disruptions.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Experience: 3-4 years of relevant experience in inventory analysis or a related field, preferably in the automotive or EV sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills, including functions, macros, pivot tables, and complex data analysis.
- Data Analytics & Modeling: Proficiency in developing and managing dynamic/static dashboards to track inventory metrics.
- Python and SQL (Advantage): Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python and SQL to perform data extraction and analysis is a plus.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Knowledge: Strong understanding of inventory management practices and supply chain principles, including demand forecasting, reorder point calculations, and lean inventory techniques.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize inventory processes.
- Problem Solving & Decision-Making: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure and recommend improvements.
The estimated salary range for this position is ₹8,00,000 - ₹12,00,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
