Job Role Overview

As an Information Security Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies and procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of risk management, compliance, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy & Compliance: Design and implement ISMS policies and procedures to ensure the organization's information assets are protected from internal and external threats.
  • Learning Management: Develop and enhance learning modules for security awareness, ensuring that all employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Risk & Compliance: Conduct regular contract reviews and manage Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) processes to ensure that all third-party vendors meet the organization's security standards.
  • Security Monitoring: Monitor and resolve exploitable vulnerabilities in collaboration with the support team, ensuring that all systems and applications are secure and up-to-date.
  • Phishing & Threat Management: Execute phishing tests and monitor firm-wide progress to identify areas for improvement and optimize security awareness programs.
  • Access & Software Management: Manage Infosec software installations, VPN access, generic email IDs, and admin rights requests, ensuring proper tracking and documentation.
  • Security Operations Center (SOC): Monitor and send SOC alerts to relevant teams while maintaining records.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports for the IT team, providing insights and recommendations for security improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in Information Security Management within consultancy services or similar industries.
  • Certifications: ISO 27001:2022 & ISO 31000 Internal auditor certification is preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience with ServiceNow, Learning Management, and Patch Management is highly valued.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong ability to assess risks and implement solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for effective collaboration.
  • Organized & Methodical: Attention to detail with a structured approach to security management.
