Our team develops projects like cookstoves, mangroves, and agroforestry with in-house investments. We manage carbon credit portfolios and renewable energy projects, offering sustainable solutions across various topics.

Job Role

We seek a motivated Business Development Support professional to work closely with our business development team in challenging environments driven by growth and learning. The successful candidate will support the team in services related to carbon advisory, renewable energy, sustainability, and Natural Capital Projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a knowledge base of carbon markets through research and categorization of reports, documents, policies, and analysis at local and national levels;
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and services;
  • Generate leads through regular follow-ups and collaborate with other departments for smooth workflow;
  • Assist seniors in developing sales pitches and participate in presentations of business ideas;
  • Draw up client contracts depending on company size and service requirements;
  • Support reporting manager in tracking and maintaining leads generated and providing data for client-specific presentations.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification and 1-3 years of experience in renewable energy, carbon consultancy, power sector, or similar fields;
  • Ability to write reports, prepare PowerPoint presentations, and prepare contracts;
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple deadlines and priorities;
  • Proactive attitude, good communication and report-writing skills, and proficiency in MS Office;
  • Team player with adaptable working nature and multitasking ability.
