Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our global team of talented engineers in the development and delivery of our products. This is a critical role that requires a strong leader who can implement and drive the adoption of best engineering practices, promote a culture of continuous innovation and foster an innovative and highly accountable mindset amongst the team.

This individual will be responsible for leading and mentoring a global engineering team, providing guidance, support and development opportunities to help them grow professionally and technically. They will oversee the planning, execution and delivery of technical projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets and scope. The Engineering Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize launches and requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a management role. They should have strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as C#, Java, Scala, Go, etc. A security first mindset with good knowledge of common security concepts such as AuthN, AuthZ, SAML, API security, encryption, etc is also required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and mentor a global engineering team, providing guidance, support and development opportunities to help them grow professionally and technically.
  • Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of technical projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets and scope.
  • Set engineering standards and practices to ensure the team delivers secure, scalable and high-quality solutions.
  • Work closely with Product, Design and Go-To-Market teams to define and execute on product roadmaps.
  • Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools and workflows.
