The primary responsibility of this role is to source and procure critical materials, reagents, solvents, and packing materials for production units. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop material plans and placing purchase orders for raw materials.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sourcing and procurement of critical materials, reagents, solvents, and packing materials.
  2. Material planning in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  3. Purchasing raw materials after consultation with cross-functional teams.
  4. Collecting quotations from various suppliers, creating a comparative statement, and shortlisting the best supplier.
  5. Following up with approved suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  6. Preparing monthly MIS reports and circulating them to purchasing heads.
  7. Aiding the team in vendor evaluation, selection, and management.
  8. Conducting periodic reviews of vendor performances and taking corrective actions to ensure timelines and quality of supplies.
  9. Rolling out standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensuring that material inflow aligns with all aspects of SOPs.
