Job Title: Content Strategist

The role of a Content Strategist is designed for an individual who can effectively act as a liaison between teams, driving the enhancement of editorial tools and systems.

\

This position demands a strong legal background, technical proficiency, and strategic insight to optimize content management and operational processes.

About the Role:

  • \
  • Support the development and/or enhancement of existing Editorial tools by acting as a liaison between Editorial and Product Management and Technology teams.\
  • Develop domain expertise in order to provide knowledge and resources around Practical Law Editorial workflows and tools.\
  • Partner with Specialists supporting operations analysis and improvement, data analytics and reporting, and overall process improvement efforts.\
  • Develop an understanding of how customers, other business units, leverage Practical Law content.\
  • Identify opportunities for leveraging Practical Law content and tools across groups.\
  • Communicate effectively across multiple organizations to achieve common understanding.\
  • Articulate Editorial and product requirements to stakeholders.\
  • Actively seek information about new technologies and tools, investigating their impact on content and content uses.\
  • Assist in guiding teams through changes in priorities and project requirements.\
  • Enforce content quality assurance.\
  • Perform Editorial content creation of key Practical Law content sets.\
  • Detail-oriented with an aptitude for in-depth analysis.\
  • Work independently and collaboratively across a matrixed organization to accomplish objectives.\
  • Meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.\
  • Develop and maintain relationships across organizations to further business goals.\
  • Influence others to adopt new technologies, tools, and processes.\
  • Exercise independent business judgment to make sound recommendations.\
  • Proactively recommend solutions for content, system, and process issues.\
  • Assist in developing strategic plans to align content and product initiatives with business objectives.\
  • Identify long-term opportunities for content innovation and improvement.\
  • Analyze market trends to inform strategic decisions and prioritize initiatives.\
  • A Bachelor's or Master's Legal degree is required or alternatively, a minimum of 4 years of experience in content management, product management, or a related field.\
  • Some travel may be required.\
