Senior Backend Developer Role

Job Summary:

We seek a skilled Senior Backend Developer to drive our backend architecture and development using Node.js, building scalable high-performance services. If you have 6+ years of experience with MERN technology stack, strong Node.js + MongoDB + AWS skills, and are ready to join immediately, we'd love to talk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and drive backend architecture and development using Node.js.
  • Design, build, and optimize APIs, microservices, and integrations.
  • Work with MongoDB for data modeling, schema design, performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to define interfaces, data contracts, and integrate frontend/backend.
  • Handle deployment, infrastructure, and operations on AWS ensuring high availability, security, logging, scalability.
  • Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, best practices, documentation.
  • Participate in architectural decisions, trade-offs, and mentor junior team members.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

Backend: Deep expertise in Node.js, Express, building and maintaining backend services in production.

Database: Strong experience with MongoDB schema design, indexing, querying, scaling, performance optimization.

Frontend Collaboration: Comfortable with front end using React understanding of how backend & frontend interact.

Cloud / Deployment: Strong experience in AWS setting up environments, deployment pipelines, monitoring, security.

Architecture & Scaling: Experience with microservices, distributed systems, handling high traffic, fault tolerance.
