Senior Backend Software Engineer Position

We are looking for a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in Python and Django to develop and maintain our complex backend services.

About the Role:

This senior position involves designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable database schemas and integrating third-party APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, analyze data, and implement efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality backend services using Python and Django.
  • Create and refine database schemas to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Integrate external APIs and services into our development stack.
  • Collaborate with developers to design and implement new features and products.
  • Analyze and resolve system performance issues and bugs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience in Django and Python development.
  • Expertise in Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL and database management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience deploying solutions in production environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of healthcare IT standards is a plus.
