Senior Sourcing Specialist

As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will oversee the management of supplier relationships and drive cost improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:Create and maintain a comprehensive database of potential suppliers to meet business needs. Develop and implement effective supplier selection processes to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Lead the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process, audits, and prototyping to develop business cases for shortlisted suppliers. Present final proposals, including risk assessments and gap analysis plans, to senior stakeholders.
Identify and prioritize key suppliers based on performance, quality, and cost considerations. Collaborate with internal teams to negotiate pricing and optimize supply chain operations.
Work with cost break-down models to identify areas for cost savings and implement initiatives to achieve these goals. Benchmark cost data against market standards to ensure competitiveness.
Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field.
Minimum 4 years' experience in sourcing, preferably in general trade or consumable sectors.
Essential Skills:- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of technology and business principles.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Results-driven with a strong bias for action.
