Financial Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Financial Risk Management Specialist to join our team. This onsite opportunity is focused on managing specialized risk management functions within the Enterprise Risk Management practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Monitor Treasury/Investment/ALM/Liquidity risk, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Valuation and Monitoring: Value Treasury portfolios, Forex, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Equity, and others, as well as provide independent mid-office monitoring support on NOP, Fixed income, FIG, Derivatives, limit monitoring, and hedge effectiveness.
  • Credit Risk and Capital Charge: Calculate Capital charge and Counterparty Risk Charge, ensuring accurate and timely submission of reports.
  • Treasury Activities: Conduct all types of limit monitoring, MTM reconciliation with counterparty banks, and margin calls in term of CSA arrangement.
  • Regulatory and Internal Reports: Prepare daily and periodical reports and Board notes on accurate and timely submission.
  • Methodology Enhancement: Enhance methodologies for counterpart credit risk measures like PFE, CVA, and periodically review banks' new products related to Market risk.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Liquidity Risk and ALM: Monitor and simulate LCR/NSFR, robustly monitor and risk report on Maturity of ALM products, set limits for MAL/SAL using statistical modeling techniques, and generate Interest rate risk on bank's book basis IRRBB or via Sensitivity Report analysis.
  • ALM / Market Risk System: Implement experience of ALM/Market Risk system from end to end, price/hedge banking products across asset classes, and be well-versed with Stress testing of Liquidity and Interest rate risk.
  • Audit Support: Handle Audit queries and provide active assistance in audit.
Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience for Middle East banks.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
