About the Role:

Risk directors play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability and security of organizations. The risk director is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives, regulatory requirements, and market conditions.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the NBFC and banking sector and regulatory landscape in India. He/She must be an experienced risk management leader, capable of managing and mitigating risks while taking businesses to scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evolving and implementing a robust risk management framework
  • Overseeing risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies across credit, operational, and compliance risks
  • Monitoring emerging credit risks and recommending proactive measures
  • Ensuring effective portfolio monitoring, stress testing, and expected credit loss forecasting
  • Leveraging data analytics, AI, and machine learning tools to enhance data insights for risk control
  • Preparing and presenting regular risk reports to senior management and the board

Requirements:
