Key Challenges:

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of commodity trading risk management systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with full trade lifecycle management, including trade capture, validation, confirmation, logistics/scheduling, risk exposure calculation, settlement, invoicing, and reporting.
  • They must also be able to manage key risk management activities, such as mark-to-market valuations, daily P&L reporting and reconciliation, market and credit risk exposure analysis, hedge effectiveness tracking.

Responsibilities:

  1. Configure commodity trading risk management systems to meet specific requirements.
  2. Ensure accurate integration of market data feeds for pricing and risk analytics.
  3. Collaborate on logistics and scheduling modules, including pipeline, shipping, storage, and nominations.
  4. Assist with settlement processes such as invoicing, payment matching, and accruals.
  5. Work closely with IT teams to implement system enhancements, interface integrations, and data migration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with commodity trading risk management systems.
  • Strong understanding of commodity trading processes and risk management principles.
  • Experience with data integration, trade lifecycle management, and system configuration.
  • Familiarity with market data providers and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
