Our team is seeking an accomplished Data Analyst to join our Pricing Analytics department.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in defining and optimizing pricing strategies for various product categories across channels. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing cluster-specific data analytics to support pricing managers and merchants.
  • Developing and deploying necessary dashboards, reporting, and insights to drive business decisions.
  • Designing and developing applicable statistical approaches/models to address specific business problems such as Price Testing, Price Change, Post Mortem, and Category review.
  • Gathering, exploring, structuring, enriching, and cleaning large datasets from various internal and external sources.
  • Leveraging Item Role Designation (Key Value Item (KVI), Head, Core & Tail) models to develop insights that inform category and intent objectives.
  • Developing scalable retail test processes and frameworks for design of experiment, test vs control testing, baseline development, assessment, and recommendations.
  • Analyzing Competitor demographics and performance for pricing across key categories.
  • Providing Ad Hoc reporting and analysis to support the Pricing team.
  • Creating executive-ready presentations synthesizing multiple data sets to inform new decisions related to Pricing.

This role requires strong analytical skills, with the ability to accumulate, evaluate, and generate insights from disparate data sources.

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or any other Quantitative discipline, plus 3+ years' experience in an analytical role, is required.

Key skills include experience with Data mining and visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel, GCP, and SQL (ETL).

Secondary skills include technical expertise in Tableau, Knime, Power Automate, experience in Python, statistical concepts/modeling, experience in Pricing Analytics or Marketing Analytics or Retail Analytics, experience working in Global Operating Model, and Project Management experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or any other Quantitative discipline.

Experience: 3+ years in an analytical role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Data mining and visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel, GCP, and SQL (ETL). Additional skills include experience in Python, Tableau, Knime, Power Automate, and project management tools.
