Pricing Analyst

Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled pricing professional to drive competitive positioning while protecting profitability in the IT services industry.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead deal pricing for pursuits across multiple engagement models, ensuring alignment with business strategies and financial objectives.
  2. Develop, review, and maintain pricing models & cost sheets, adhering to internal approval processes and ensuring compliance.
  3. Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess risks, margins, and financial impact of large deals, providing actionable insights.
  4. Track and publish win–loss analysis for submitted deals to identify pricing trends and improvement areas, supporting informed decision-making.
  5. Support preparation and review of business unit Profit & Loss statements, budgets, and forecasts, enabling data-driven strategic planning.
  6. Deliver monthly profitability reports, highlighting key variances and recommending corrective actions, driving continuous improvement.
  7. Provide financial insights on market benchmarks, competitor pricing, and industry trends to strengthen pricing strategy, enhancing competitiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in deal pricing, financial modeling, and margin analysis, with a solid understanding of IT services business models.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, financial systems, and scenario modeling tools, with an analytical mindset and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders under tight deadlines, requiring effective communication and project management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field (mandatory).
  • 3–6 years of experience in deal pricing / business finance / FP&A roles within IT services organizations (mandatory).
  • Experience supporting global/multi-geo deals is an added advantage.
