Job Overview

As a Network Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing comprehensive test plans for products. You will also coordinate and participate in system-level testing activities, including estimation, strategy, test planning, execution, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing comprehensive test plans for products.
  • Coordinating and participating in system-level testing activities.
  • Setting up test scenarios and troubleshooting hardware and software components as needed.
  • Creating testing tools and scripts to support system-level testing activities.
  • Providing training and support as required.
  • Leading small to mid-size projects and mentoring junior staff.
  • Understanding lab infrastructure and maintenance.
  • Interacting with customers effectively.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree is required. Experience in network/telecom/satcom testing is also necessary.

Required Skills

Automation skills with Python are essential. Familiarity with test equipment and tools like Spirent, IXIA, Wireshark, ethereal, noise emulator, iperf, pytest/robot framework is also required.

Preferred Skills

Telecom knowledge on NMS/EMS/OSS is a plus. Understanding of OSI Model, L3/L4 layer, IPv4/IPv6, TCP/UDP is also beneficial.
