Network Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale network infrastructure for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect network infrastructure using Cisco routers, switches, and routing protocols.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot enterprise network equipment including routers, switches, access points, and controllers.
  • Configure and manage network security policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for critical network systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other IT systems.
  • Provide on-call support for network infrastructure issues outside of regular business hours.
  • Perform capacity planning and upgrades to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Mentor junior engineers in network infrastructure design and implementation best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as PCI and HIPAA.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum process for the IT systems team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience with Cisco routers/switches/routing protocols and other network equipment.
  • Experience implementing Cisco ISE and Cisco DNA Center.
  • Experience with SD-WAN and SDN preferred.
  • Experience with VMware, Docker, and AWS environments preferred.
  • Experience with IaC and/or NaC preferred.
  • Proficient in Python and Ansible programming languages.

Certifications:

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional certification required.
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert certification preferred.
