We are seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to oversee the design, development, and implementation of our platform infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our services and applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and ensure the platform meets the needs of our business and customers.

  • Lead efforts to automate and improve deployment processes and infrastructure management.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively address potential bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and ensure best practices in software delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and teams.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Ensure security best practices are integrated into the development and deployment processes.
  • Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders to align on technology roadmap and progress.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of platform architecture and design principles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Understanding of networking concepts and services, including load balancing, DNS, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Dynatrace).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
