Job Title: IT Systems Administrator with Citrix Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator with expertise in Citrix to join our team at PracticeSuite, Inc. in Kochi, Kerala.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining our organization's IT platforms, providing end-user support, and ensuring optimal performance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and other related systems.
  • Provide end-user support for over 40 users in a team-based environment.
  • Install, configure, implement, and validate installation of components on networks.
  • Monitor, support, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
  • Implement and maintain numerous hardware platforms and applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other system issues.
  • Replace and upgrade outdated systems when necessary.
  • Monitor system performance to ensure smooth operation.
  • Research and recommend new approaches to improve processes.
  • Ensure documentation is up to date and comprehensive.
  • Assist in the crafting and enforcing of policies related to endpoint functionality.
  • Administration of Microsoft Office 365 (GCC environment).
  • Supporting remote workforce.
  • Collaborate with other members of the IT and Security teams to quickly resolve issues.
  • Assist with and lead endpoint-focused projects.
  • Apply analytical skills to solve complex technical problems and recommend solutions.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with company staff, suppliers, and business partners.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, change & adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical issues both orally and in writing.
  • Availability outside of normal working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in configuring Active Windows Directory.
  • 5+ years of experience maintaining and upgrading a Citrix environment.
  • Group Policy Handling.
  • Networking Knowledge.
  • Experience in handling and configuring firewalls and security systems.
  • IT security compliance.
  • Experience in configuring VPN, firewall.
  • IT disaster management.
  • Server configuration.
  • Basic trouble shooting.
  • IT security.
  • E-mail server configuration and set up – open-source email is an added advantage.
  • Backup recovery familiarized.
  • Good communication in English.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • A proven ability to research, analyze, and synthesize information.
  • Creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box.
