Future Studies Director

The ideal candidate will lead efforts in developing and implementing strategic foresight initiatives, establishing our institution as a thought leader in shaping strategies for emerging global challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and direct the Future Studies Center, driving innovation and collaboration across departments.
  • Conduct and publish annual reports on global trends in technology, geopolitics, and sustainability, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop and teach graduate-level courses in futures thinking, policy foresight, and scenario planning, fostering the next generation of thought leaders.
  • Collaborate with governments, think tanks, and corporations on strategic foresight projects, promoting cross-industry partnerships and knowledge sharing.
  • Mentor doctoral students and research fellows in foresight studies, nurturing their skills and expertise.
  • Represent our institution at international forums and conferences, elevating its profile and reputation.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Futures Studies, Innovation Policy, Strategic Management, or related field, demonstrating a deep understanding of theoretical and practical applications.
  • Internationally recognized scholar with a distinguished publication record, showcasing expertise in strategic foresight and innovative thinking.
  • Proven experience in policy advisory, foresight consulting, or global think tanks, leveraging expertise to drive organizational success.
  • Strong global academic and industry networks, facilitating collaboration and knowledge exchange.
