About the Role

The Principal Officer will lead compliance efforts across all provisions of regulatory frameworks, including SEBI Act, AIF Regulations and FEMA/IFSC regulations. This role requires strategic thinking, risk management and strong communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective compliance strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for timely reporting and compliance.
  • Manage investor queries related to compliance and provide regular updates.
  • Proactively identify issues and develop solutions while maintaining operational risk framework.
  • Create efficient controls for reconciliations, risk management and review MIS and daily operations.
  • Build partnerships with incubators, accelerators and other industry stakeholders.
  • Represent senior management and drive organizational culture and values among employees.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Alternate Investment Fund regulations.
  • Professional certifications such as CS or CA or MBA qualification.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and other office software.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous reporting, analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and numerical proficiency.
