Business Operations Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Operations Specialist to support our Finance Operations team.

This role may be a great fit for you if you want to work in a growing environment and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams to help coordinate projects across the business
  • Support client relationships by generating reports and troubleshooting to meet project expectations
  • Act as the primary support role for all items related to client billing and payment processing
  • Provide core support for ensuring timely receipt of payments
  • Track and maintain clear records of billing activity
  • Generate billing files and upload them to clients' financial systems
  • Develop and maintain regular cash flow reports to summarize account status
  • Develop and maintain agency and client forecasting files
  • Assist in deliverables related to audit compliance
  • Enforce operations policies and best practices across the business

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Post Graduate Degree in accounting or finance with 2-5 years of experience
  • Proficient in Advanced Excel and ability to quickly learn new ERP software
  • Flexibility to take up new assignments and not limit oneself to specific set of tasks
  • Flexible and Result Oriented with Strong Written & Oral Communication Skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to effectively address any issue
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX, MediaOcean, and Hyperion Financial Management tool is a plus
