Contract Negotiator Job Description

The role of a Contract Negotiator involves reviewing, negotiating and managing contracts on behalf of the organization. This includes identifying contractual risks, providing inputs to mitigate these risks, and working with internal and external clients to structure, prepare, negotiate and finalize agreements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and negotiate customer contracts to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide inputs to mitigate contractual risks and exposures.
  • Work with internal and external clients to structure, prepare, negotiate and finalize agreements.
  • Manage and give guidance to junior lawyers.
  • Participate in discussions with internal stakeholders, external counsels and advisors during the contracting process.
Requirements

To be successful as a Contract Negotiator, you will need to have strong contract negotiation skills, experience in reviewing and negotiating IT contracts, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, you will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team.
