Job Title: IT Contract Negotiator

Location: Kolkata, India

Job Purpose: Spearhead IT contract negotiations across software, hardware, cloud, and services to secure advantageous terms, mitigate vendor risk, and align procurement with business objectives, compliance, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct contract negotiations with IT vendors.
  • Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Projects on negotiation strategies.
  • Evaluate contracts for risks, compliance, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Monitor contract lifecycle and ensure timely renewals.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, data security, and legal standards.
  • Provide vendor/market intelligence and support IT decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Graduate in IT/Business/Commerce or related field.
  • 14–15 years' experience in IT procurement, contract negotiation, or vendor management.
  • Relevant certifications (CPSM/CTPE); ITIL knowledge preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IT licensing, SaaS, cloud, and SLAs.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and contract drafting skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and contract management tools.
