Job Title:

Quality Assurance Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Achieve quality and food safety targets by conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and housekeeping standards are met.
  • Conduct cleaning and sanitation activities effectively to prevent contamination.
  • Adhere to minimum test frequency and KORE/QDEC requirements to ensure product safety.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Conduct external testing, calibration, pest control, sensory, capability study, microbiological compliance, retention, and market studies to maintain product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audits by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Validate and verify quality and food safety activities, including line validation, product validation, package validation, and process change validations.
  • Assess skill gaps and training needs for quality manpower and develop a training calendar to improve knowledge and skills.
  • Track departmental KPIs, conduct root cause analysis, and prepare corrective action plans to address any issues.
  • Coodinate with the supply chain for the implementation of WUN and RUN programs to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain CRC targets and zero IMCR to prevent waste and minimize costs.
  • Ensure 100% traceability and conduct product recall mock drills to be prepared for any situation.
  • Monitor IDOD, DOD, stacking norms, material and product compatibility, FEFO, and take corrective action to maintain freshness indicators in the market.
  • Maintain interlocks, PRP, OPRP, CCP, and control measures as per requirements.
