Job Title: Real Estate Compliance Specialist

Job Description

The Legal and RERA Compliance Manager will oversee legal compliance, prepare legal documents, provide consulting services, and manage legal affairs related to real estate projects. This includes ensuring adherence to RERA regulations, liaising with regulatory bodies, and handling all legal aspects to ensure the company's compliance with applicable laws.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely registration of projects, adhering to RERA guidelines, and serving as the point of contact for RERA-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle end-to-end registration of new real estate projects under respective state RERA authorities (Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka).
  • Ensure timely submission of necessary documentation, declarations, and compliance forms as mandated by RERA.
  • Liaise with legal, finance, and technical teams to gather required documents for RERA filings.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Track and update project details on the RERA portal.
  • Prepare quarterly/periodic updates, financial disclosures, and project status reports as per RERA norms.
  • Ensure regular reconciliation of project progress and fund utilization with data submitted to RERA.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 and applicable state rules.
  • Strong legal acumen and documentation skills.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using RERA portals and online submission tools.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
