As a Statutory Audit professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial statements. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business operations and identify areas for improvement.

  • Developing audit planning documentation addressing scope, budgeted hours, resource plan, and reporting date is crucial.
  • Successfully complete assigned audits, addressing all audit objectives, conducting client and status meetings as required, controlling, monitoring, and reporting on audit progress, reviewing work papers, and ensuring they provide adequate support for conclusions while complying with internal standards for documentation.
  • Monitoring assignments for improving efficiency, managing audits in relation to time and resource budget, actively checking that all findings and issues are documented, and performing closedown procedures.
  • Gathering and compiling information and data are essential skills for this position.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report-writing skills, are necessary for building strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Develops and maintains strong connections within the organization.
  • Provides recommendations for strengthening controls, thereby ensuring compliance and risk management.
  • Able to deal well with ambiguity and constant change as well as working independently.
  • Solid understanding of INDAS and the Companies Act is required.
  • You should have the capability to think conceptually, visualize different scenarios, and decide based on analysis and logical reasoning.

Requirements:

  • Semi-qualified CA with experience in Statutory Audit during Articleship is necessary.
  • Proficient knowledge of statutory audit procedures and standards is essential.
  • Strong expertise in IGAAP, IND AS, and its practical application is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report-writing skills, are necessary.
