About the Role: We're seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineering Leader to lead a team of engineers in building high-impact integrations with modern cloud APIs and legacy banking systems.

We take a data-driven approach to development, using AI tools to write better code, automate testing, and ship faster without compromising quality.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example: stay hands-on with coding, design, and code reviews.
  • Architect and scale integrations between modern APIs and legacy systems.
  • Collaborate with Product, Implementation, and Customer teams to solve real-world challenges.
  • Maintain high standards for reliability, performance, and observability.
  • Leverage AI tools to boost engineering productivity.
  • Raise the bar on architecture, testing, CI/CD, security, and code quality.
  • Hire, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years in software development, including 2+ years in leadership.
  • Strong skills in Golang, plus React/JavaScript; Python a plus.
  • Experience in microservices, asynchronous systems, CI/CD, and scalable architectures.
  • Proven record in fintech or enterprise SaaS (product-based preferred).
  • Familiarity with AI/GenAI dev tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf).
  • Customer-first mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for building teams and fostering a culture of ownership and learning.
