Senior Backend Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced engineering leader to drive the technical direction, execution, and growth of our backend engineering teams.

  • Lead and manage multiple backend engineering teams, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing environment.
  • Own the overall technical vision and strategy for the backend organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product roadmap.
  • Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of complex backend initiatives across multiple teams, ensuring they are on time, within scope, and meet high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, frontend leadership, and other stakeholders to define product strategy, priorities, and technical direction.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend software development, with a focus on MERN stack technologies, and proven experience in managing and leading software engineering teams.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and can influence and inspire large technical teams and stakeholders.

  • Expertise in backend software development with a strong focus on architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing multiple software engineering teams, with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex organizational and technical challenges.
