Job Description:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer requirements and project specifications.
  • Take ownership of projects from concept to delivery, including risk management, project scheduling, and customer communication.
  • Implement algorithms for FPGA and/or software, partitioning tasks and identifying building blocks & signal processing functions.
  • Create module-level details from architecture, coding, simulation, and perform peer reviews, applying design methodologies.
  • Develop, maintain, and document project-related documentation, with a focus on detailed analysis reports.
  • Support integration phases at test sites and collaborate with production teams.
  • Define the architecture of RTL functions and ensure seamless integration.
  • Utilize HDL Coding, Simulation, and Implementation techniques to optimize performance.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging on board.

Professional Skills:

  • Proficient in VHDL and Xilinx tools for synthesis and implementation.
  • Thorough understanding of Xilinx FPGAs and their applications.
  • Expertise in Functional Simulation and Hardware Design, including Logic Design and Debugging.
  • Familiarity with FPGA Design, VHDL/Verilog RTL Coding, System C/System Verilog, and FPGA Synthesis/PAR Tools.
  • Experience in implementing DSP algorithms in FPGA environments for Radar and Electronic Warfare systems.
  • Strong skills in modeling algorithms using Octave/MATLAB, generating test vectors, and visualizing data.
  • Working knowledge of interfacing with ADCs and DACs and interpreting their performance.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and configuration/version control skills (SVN).
