Senior Embedded Systems Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled senior embedded systems designer to drive the development of next-generation automotive audio systems.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing electronic components and systems that power car audio systems. They will be responsible for driving the hardware architecture and component selection for the next generation automotive audio system, working closely with vehicle Architecture/system Design, safety engineer, and Buyer/purchasing teams to ensure chosen components meet performance, reliability, and cost requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and recommend next-generation semiconductor solutions for automotive audio, circuit/PCB designing, and developing electronic components and systems that power car audio systems.
  • Select and recommend electronic audio components, including audio amplifiers, microphone interfaces/audio ADC, audio DSP, audio power circuitry/PMIC, speaker interfaces, and digital audio interfaces (A2B, Ethernet, etc).
  • Collaborate with silicon vendor partners to drive design features and technology roadmaps.
Key Requirements:
  • B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunication, or equivalent Engineering.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive embedded electronics designs or hardware/system architectural roles.
  • Knowledge of In-vehicle infotainment systems, Audio systems, Automotive vehicle connectivity systems, and ECU design, development, and testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in automotive areas (OEM, TIER1, TIER2).
  • Understanding and knowledge of Board software/Bring up software, Audio DSP, and MCUs.

This role involves working in a global team spread across different regions and time zones.
