Device Programming Specialist – Embedded Systems Expert

Long term contract | India Only

Work Hours: 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM IST

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Device Support Engineer is to design, develop, and implement programming algorithms that enable support for devices with Non-Volatile memories. This includes writing algorithms to support existing devices and updating existing algorithms with new specification changes from semiconductor manufacturers.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create device programming solutions using advanced software techniques.
  • Analyse support requests to assess feasibility and identify necessary requirements.
  • Design and release Socket Module adapter boards.
  • Evaluate incoming requests for device support.
  • Troubleshoot and fix problems found by QA or customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
  • Proficient in C/C++/Assembly languages, Python.
  • Familiarity with EPROM, Flash, Microcontrollers, and PLDs.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols SPI, I2C, UART, SWD, JTAG.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently or in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to resolve issues efficiently.
