Operations Maintenance Specialist

The Operations Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the overall maintenance and reliable operation of all plant utilities, mechanical and electrical systems, and equipment across the pharmaceutical facility. This role includes preventive and breakdown maintenance, project execution, equipment qualification, and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations.

  • Ensure the availability and reliability of critical utilities such as boilers, chillers, DG sets, and water purification systems.
  • Lead the installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment and systems to ensure seamless integration into existing operations.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize energy efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to equipment failures and system inefficiencies.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Maintenance Management: Proven experience in managing maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring compliance with GMP and safety regulations.
  • Project Execution: Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to completion.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including HT/LT electrical systems, HVAC systems, purified water systems, and other critical utilities.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
