Terraform Automation Specialist

The role of a Terraform Automation Specialist involves leveraging expertise in Cisco SD-WAN deployments. As a freelancer, you will work remotely to support clients' infrastructure projects.
Main Responsibilities:- Review and optimize Terraform codebases for Cisco SD-WAN implementations across multiple data centers and branch offices.
- Evaluate configuration templates, policies, automation workflows, and state management practices.
- Provide recommendations for best practices and deliver comprehensive review reports.
- Collaborate with clients' technical teams through remote knowledge transfer sessions.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (modules, variables, templates, IaC workflows).
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN components (vManage, vSmart, vBond, device templates, policies).
- Ability to assess and improve state management strategies (remote backends, locking, workspaces).
- Familiarity with integrating Terraform with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git/Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of network automation best practices and SD-WAN deployment models.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills.
- Effective communication for remote collaboration and client interaction.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization.
- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies.
