Job Title: Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of automation and control systems in water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

About the Role:
  • The primary responsibility of this position is to operate, monitor, and maintain SCADA, PLC, instrumentation, and communication systems for reliable plant and network operations.
  • You will ensure uptime and reliability of automation and control systems supporting O&M activities, perform regular system checks, calibration, and preventive maintenance of PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, and field instrumentation.
  • Troubleshooting hardware/software issues and coordinating for resolution is also a key part of this role.
  • You will develop, test, and implement automation logic modifications as per operational needs, and monitor and optimize control strategies for energy efficiency and process performance.
Key Requirements:
  • Familiarity with SCADA, PLC, instrumentation, and communication systems is essential.
  • Experience in operating, monitoring, and maintaining automation and control systems is required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to coordinate for resolution are necessary.
  • Able to develop, test, and implement automation logic modifications is a must.
  • Knowledge of automation and control systems principles is required.
