Job Title: Data Privacy Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Privacy Professional to join our Cyber and Risk Practice as a Deputy Manager/Manager.

The role involves leading and executing data privacy engagements, ensuring compliance with global privacy regulations, and embedding privacy-by-design into client processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage data privacy projects across industries, ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements (GDPR, PDPB/DPDP Act, HIPAA, CCPA, etc.).
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).
  • Design, review, and enhance privacy policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Implement and monitor privacy controls, including data subject rights, consent management, and cross-border data transfer mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Risk functions to ensure privacy compliance in technology and business processes.
  • Drive awareness sessions and training programs on data privacy and protection.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management and clients on privacy risks, compliance gaps, and remediation strategies.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4 to 10 years of relevant experience in data privacy, information security, or compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations (GDPR, DPDP Act, HIPAA, CCPA, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with privacy audits, assessments, and compliance programs.
  • Exposure to ISO 27701, ISO 27001, and other privacy/security frameworks.
  • Ability to manage client engagements, lead teams, and deliver projects within timelines.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications:

  • CIPT / CIPP-E / CISM / CISA or equivalent privacy/security certifications.
  • ISO 27701 Implementer / Lead Auditor is an advantage.
