We are seeking an experienced and skilled IT Professional to join our organization as a Backup Manager.

This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of backup and recovery environments across on-premise and cloud platforms.

  • Manage backup and recovery environments, ensuring data integrity, availability, and recoverability.
  • Lead and mentor a team of backup administrators to ensure high system availability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain backup policies, schedules, and procedures aligned with business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams to meet data protection and retention requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong technical expertise in backup technologies.
  • Leadership capabilities and a proactive approach to risk mitigation and compliance.
  • Knowledge of Integrated IT Backup Solutions, Storage, and ITIL.
  • Experience working with distributed IT teams and knowledge of manufacturing IT domain (OT IT).

Certification in Backup Management, VMware, Server hardware management, and experience in preparing CSV documents are added advantages.
