Bookkeeping Executive Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced bookkeeper to fill this key role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting principles, with demonstrated proficiency in XERO software.

The main responsibilities of this position include:

  • Performing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.">
  • Managing a portfolio of clients' accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.">
  • Preparing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.">
  • Providing expert advice on financial matters, including tax compliance, financial planning, and budgeting.">
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.">
  • Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of financial issues.">
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and data security.">
  • Staying up-to-date with developments in accounting and bookkeeping software, including XERO, to ensure best practice.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.">
  • At least 2 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with demonstrated proficiency in XERO software.">
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as tax compliance regulations.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.">
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a high level of attention to detail.">
