Senior Bookkeeping Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to support our finance and operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting standards, and taxation rules, along with excellent English communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards.
- Assisting with BAS, GST, and other tax-related filings.
- Processing payroll and superannuation contributions (if required).
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Working with accountants to prepare financial reports and ensure compliance.
- Managing invoicing, receipts, and expense tracking.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (preferably Australian clients or companies).
- A strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB.
- A solid understanding of BAS, GST, superannuation, and other Australian compliance requirements.
- Fluent English (written and verbal) with clear, professional, and confident communication skills.
- A highly organized, detail-oriented, and independent work style.
- A sharp, analytical, and proactive problem-solving mindset.
