Job Title: Hostel Operations Director

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our hostel operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality management and be able to drive smooth, student-friendly operations.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of hostel operations, including housekeeping, security, food service, and maintenance. They will also manage key external vendors and act as the central point of contact for all student and parent-related concerns around accommodation.

This is a dynamic role that requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate must be able to handle both student concerns and high-touch parent interactions with confidence and empathy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Hostel Operations Team: Manage a team of hostel managers, support staff, and vendor coordinators to ensure seamless operations.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee all third-party vendors involved in housekeeping, security, food, and maintenance.
  • Student and Parent Communication: Act as the central point of contact for all student and parent-related concerns around accommodation.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective hostel operations strategies that align with institutional goals.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: 4-8 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role in hospitality, luxury housing, student co-living, or client experience.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills — able to handle both student concerns and high-touch parent interactions with confidence and empathy.
  • Team Management: Demonstrated ability in leading teams, managing vendors, and getting things done through others.
