Job Summary

Cyber Security Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Manager to lead our organization's security initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security risks.

You will supervise and coordinate the monitoring and analysis of security alerts and incidents, ensuring prompt response to security breaches. Your leadership skills will be crucial in guiding collaboration with IT and other departments to integrate security measures into all aspects of our operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the maintenance of security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Develop and conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security within our organization.
  • Develop and lead the implementation of comprehensive information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Perform and oversee risk assessments, developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present security reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about cybersecurity and has experience working with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), network security, application security, and data protection. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks is also essential. In addition, we require candidates with experience in incident response and forensic analysis, as well as strategic planning and project management.
