Mechanical & Electrical Project Execution Engineer Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical & Electrical Project Execution Engineer to lead the execution, testing, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for datacenter projects. This role demands strong knowledge of MEP systems integration, site management, vendor coordination, and delivery of projects within defined cost, quality, and timeline parameters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination & Execution
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of MEP packages (Mechanical, Electrical) for Datacenters.
  • Coordinate with design, OEM vendors, civil, and client teams to ensure alignment.
  • Review and validate MEP shop drawings, SLDs, equipment layouts, and schematic diagrams.
  • Manage and control installation, testing & commissioning (T&C) activities at site.
  • Ensure integration of MEP services with IT, BMS, and DCIM systems.
Electrical Systems:
  • 4–15 years of experience in Electrical Project Execution (Datacenter, Industrial, EPC).
  • Supervise installation and T&C of MV & LV systems: HT Panels, Transformers, DG Sets, UPS, CSS, LT Panels, PDUs, Busducts, Switchgear.
  • Conduct FAT/SAT, relay testing, load testing, synchronization, and protection checks.
  • Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, IEEE standards.
  • Plan and execute T&C of all MEP systems with OEM vendors.
  • Support Integrated System Testing (IST) for datacenter readiness.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP/Prince2).
  • Knowledge of BMS/DCIM systems and Green Datacenter concepts.
Mechanical Systems:
  • 4–15 years of experience in Mechanical Project Execution (Datacenter, Industrial, EPC).
  • Manage execution of HVAC systems (Chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, AHUs, VFDs, Cooling Towers).
  • Oversee chilled water system piping, valves, pumps, and balancing.
  • Monitor fire suppression systems (VESDA, Inergen/FM200, sprinkler systems).
  • Ensure ASHRAE / Uptime standards compliance for datacenter cooling efficiency (PUE).
  • Plan and execute T&C of all MEP systems with OEM vendors.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP/Prince2).
  • Knowledge of BMS/DCIM systems and Green Datacenter concepts.
Project Management & Documentation:
  • Track project milestones, resource allocation, and material procurement.
  • Prepare method statements, risk assessments, QA/QC checklists, test reports, and as-built documentation.
  • Liaise with consultants, OEMs, contractors, and clients for approvals and handovers.
  • Monitor and report progress, risks, and mitigation measures to management.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
