Simulation Specialist

We are seeking a Simulation Specialist to join our team. As a Simulation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functionality, safety, and technical readiness of our simulators.

  • Your responsibilities will include performing scheduled preventive maintenance on simulators according to established procedures and schedules.
  • You will identify and resolve technical and mechanical issues in simulators effectively.
  • Collaboration with various departments will be essential for inspections, performance tests, and external maintenance tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and managing spare parts inventory will also be part of your duties.
  • Providing real-time technical assistance to the maintenance team during complex operations is vital.
  • You will collaborate in creating and updating technical documentation and maintenance procedures.
  • Working closely with the development team to implement simulator upgrades and improvements will be necessary.
  • You will deliver and support technical training for maintenance staff on new systems and procedures.
  • Maintaining a knowledge management system to support continuous learning within the team is essential.
  • Participating in performance review meetings and simulator hardware obsolescence analysis will also be required.
  • You will contribute to resolving discrepancies not solved by routine maintenance and participate in internal audits and quality system updates.
  • Conducting periodic checks, including QTGs, is a critical aspect of this role.
  • Recommendations for technical improvements to boost simulator performance and efficiency will be highly valued.

Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and simulator systems.
  • Familiarity with simulator systems and associated equipment.
  • Strong technical diagnostic and problem-solving skills are essential.
