Simulation Engineer Role Overview

This is a highly technical role that requires expertise in simulator systems and strong problem-solving skills.

  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of electronic, mechanical, and simulator systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on simulators to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues in simulators effectively.
  • Coordinate with departments for inspections and external maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and manage spare parts inventory.
  • Provide real-time technical assistance to the team during complex operations.
  • Collaborate in the creation and update of technical documentation and maintenance procedures.
  • Coordinate with the development team to implement simulator upgrades and improvements.
  • Deliver and support technical training for staff on new systems and procedures.
  • Manage a knowledge management system to support continuous learning within the team.
  • Participate in performance review meetings and hardware obsolescence analysis.
  • Support resolution of discrepancies not solved by routine maintenance.
  • Conduct periodic checks including quality test guarantees.
  • Recommend technical improvements to boost simulator performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and simulator systems.
  • Strong technical diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with documentation management and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with different departments.
