Job Title: Engineering Team Leader


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced software engineering leader to lead our small but critical team responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining our online crowdfunding platform.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive technical excellence and personal growth within the team. They will be responsible for leading engineering execution across product development, QA, and infrastructure, designing and implementing high-quality software systems and reliable architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering execution across product development, QA, and infrastructure
  • Design, review, and implement high-quality software systems and reliable architecture
  • Mentor and manage a team of 3–5 engineers—ensuring technical excellence and personal growth
  • Own the engineering roadmap in collaboration with product and business stakeholders
  • Ensure system reliability through good dev practices, testing, and monitoring
  • Champion best practices in software engineering, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure
  • Communicate effectively across functions—product, operations, and design

Requirements
  • 7–10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or management role
  • Proven ability to write and review high-quality code in one or more modern languages
  • Strong understanding of system design, databases, API development, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and setting up observability tools
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and quality in software development and delivery
  • Ability to work with Node.js, MongoDB, React.js, TypeScript, and AWS
  • Experience managing end-to-end product cycles including planning, execution, testing, and deployment
  • Comfort with cross-functional collaboration
