Job Summary

As a Vice President of Global Data Strategy and Governance, in the Asset Wealth Management team in Risk Management, you are responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy and governance framework across the global organization. In this role, you will ensure data is managed as a strategic asset, transforming credit risk to a data-driven organization, leveraging business/artificial intelligence to drive strategic data vision and strategy, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Global Data Approach/Strategy: Aligning with organizational objectives, ensuring data is utilized effectively to drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Line Business Stakeholders: Ensuring conformity to firm-wide data agenda, promoting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Team: Responsible for data, reporting, insights, and analysis, driving business value through data-driven initiatives.
  • Work Closely with Business Units, IT, and Stakeholders: Aligning data strategy, fostering collaboration, and driving data excellence across the organization.
  • Set Governance Standards: On data sourcing and use, ensuring data integrity and security.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • 9+ years of experience in Data Science, Information Management in a corporate environment.
  • Strategic/transformative thinking and planning.
  • Knowledge/experience with business/artificial intelligence, data analytics/reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Project management experience.
  • Relationship building.
Additional Information
  • The role may involve working with remote teams across different time zones.
  • Position may require travel.
