Job Title: Chief Data Strategy Officer

Job Description:

The role of the Chief Data Strategy Officer is to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive data strategy for the Wealth businesses. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify opportunities, and develop innovative solutions that drive growth and profitability.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in leading teams who use advanced analytics to solve complex business problems, as well as expertise in cloud data engineering, data warehousing, and MLOps practices. They will also have a deep understanding of banking data architecture and ecosystems, with experience in designing data solutions tailored to the banking industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a data strategy that aligns with the bank's overall business objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective data governance and risk management practices
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and vendors to ensure timely delivery of data solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the bank remains competitive

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, mathematics, statistics)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field (e.g. data science, analytics, engineering)
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact projects and solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
