Strategic Operations Manager

Job Description:

This is a high-level role that requires an individual to oversee and manage end-to-end strategic initiatives from planning and market analysis to implementation and performance measurement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the real estate industry, including market trends, regulations, and key performance metrics. They will be responsible for driving change within real estate organizations, including technology adoption, process optimization, and cultural transformation.

The successful candidate will have expertise in corporate strategy, operational planning, and project management within a real estate context. They will also have experience in managing large-scale projects using methodologies such as Agile or Lean and keeping multiple projects on track simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, operational excellence, and market competitiveness.

  2. Manage cross-functional teams to deliver complex, multi-dimensional projects that drive value for the business and align with long-term strategic goals.

  3. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.

  4. Cultivate relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.

  5. Identify and mitigate risks associated with strategic initiatives and develop contingency plans to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree from a tier 1 institution.

  • 2-4 years of experience in a strategic planning, Chief of Staff, or leadership role in the real estate industry or similar fast-paced sectors.

  • Solid understanding of the real estate industry, including market trends, regulations, and key performance metrics.

  • Expertise in corporate strategy, operational planning, and project management within a real estate context.

  • Strong analytical thinking skills to break down complex problems, analyze data, and create actionable solutions.
