Instrument Calibration Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced instrument calibration specialist to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs focused on the calibration of laboratory and process instruments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and conducting practical and theoretical sessions on calibration techniques, documentation practices, and compliance standards across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training modules on calibration techniques, including temperature, pressure, flow meters, balances, HPLC/GC systems.
  • Provide guidance on preventive maintenance practices to ensure instrument reliability and performance.
  • Train participants on the proper use and handling of reference standards during calibration activities.
  • Ensure understanding and application of cGMP, ISO, and regulatory documentation requirements for calibration and maintenance records.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop customized training content for industry-specific requirements.
  • Conduct hands-on workshops, simulations, and assessments for real-world application.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Calibration of laboratory and process instruments.
  • Preventive maintenance planning and execution.
  • Proficiency in reference standards and traceability.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, ISO 17025, and related compliance documentation.
  • Corrective and preventive action (CAPA) planning for calibration-related deviations.
